Terms and conditions.

The rules for buying gift vouchers and goods on kafevklidu.cz, kept short and clear. The Czech version prevails.

Seller

The seller is BO Gastro Services s.r.o., registered office Kaprova 42/14, 110 00 Praha 1, company ID 24165590, registered in the Commercial Register at the Municipal Court in Prague, section C, file 184738, operator of the café Kafe v Klidu, V Jirchářích 149/6, 110 00 Prague 1. Order and contract

You place an order using the form in the shop. The contract is made when you send the order; I confirm it by e-mail. The confirmation includes these terms as a text file, in the version valid on the day of your order. Prices are final in CZK, I am not a VAT payer. You see the delivery price before sending the order.

Payment

You can pay by card online (Stripe), by bank transfer to 279020331/0300 with the order number as the variable symbol, for goods picked up at the café also in cash or by card on the spot, and for Zásilkovna parcels cash on delivery (cash on delivery fee CZK 30). I may cancel an order paid by transfer if the payment does not arrive within 7 days.

Gift vouchers

You can order vouchers on their own or together with goods in one order; each voucher has its own code and once paid I e-mail it to you as a PDF (no shipping; for bank transfer once the money arrives). It is valid for 6 months from the day of payment; the expiry date is printed on it. Use it at the café for food, drinks or goods: show it on your phone or printed, I check the code and mark it as used. A voucher is used in one go; unused value and expired vouchers are not refunded in cash. Anyone with the code can use it, so please keep it safe. You as the buyer enter the recipient’s name and the dedication and are responsible for being allowed to use them; a first name or nickname is enough.

Delivery of goods

Pick up your goods at the café for free during opening hours, or I send them via Zásilkovna to a pick-up point / Z-BOX or to your address. Delivery prices are shown in the order; vouchers have no shipping. I usually ship within 3 working days of payment (for cash on delivery, of ordering).

Withdrawal

As a consumer you may withdraw from a purchase of goods without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving them. Just send me a clear statement, e.g. by e-mail to info@kafevklidu.cz; you may use the model form below, but you do not have to. The deadline is met if you send your withdrawal before it ends.

Return the goods within 14 days of withdrawing, in person at the café or by post to Kafe v Klidu, V Jirchářích 149/6, 110 00 Prague 1. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Within 14 days of your withdrawal I refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs – but only up to the cheapest parcel delivery option I offer (currently CZK 100); the extra cost of a more expensive option you chose (e.g. home delivery or cash on delivery) is not refunded. I refund the same way you paid; for cash on delivery or cash payments by bank transfer to an account you give me. I may withhold the refund until I receive the goods back or you prove you have sent them. If the goods come back damaged or used more than necessary to examine them, I may claim compensation for the loss in value.

Withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods you opened for hygiene reasons (e.g. food, coffee) or goods that spoil quickly. You may withdraw from a voucher purchase within 14 days of payment if it has not been used.

Complaints

I am liable for defects under the Czech Civil Code; you can claim a defect within 24 months of receipt (food until its best-before date). E-mail me at info@kafevklidu.cz or bring the goods to the café. I handle complaints without undue delay, within 30 days at the latest. If something goes wrong with a voucher (e.g. the e-mail did not arrive), let me know and I will resend it.

Out-of-court disputes

If we cannot agree, you can file for out-of-court dispute resolution with the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), Ústřední inspektorát – oddělení ADR, Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, adr.coi.cz.
